Q:
When is the RSVP deadline?
Two weeks after you received your invitation!

Is this an acceptable thing to wear?
If you're questioning it because it's off-white or off-red, then probably not.
If it's impractical? Just make sure it's walkable/good for sitting. It's basically a cosplay? As long as it's not Arwen/Aragorn, that's fine by me! If you're really concerned, you can submit it on the Rule, Find, Bring, Bind page!

​What's the weather like in New Zealand around this time of year?
According to weather25, the temperature is typically a high of 70F and a low of 55F, with 9 mph winds and partial clouds.
Q:
When should I arrive in New Zealand?
The hotel block is booked from March 28th check-in to April 1st check-out. It is your choice how long or how little you'd like to stay in New Zealand!

When should I arrive to the Shire's Rest?
If you are staying in the hotel block, you will be leaving together as a group by shuttle around 2:45. If you aren't staying at the hotel, we ask that you arrive to the Shire's Rest by 3:20pm.
Q:
My invitation says that there is only one (1) seat reserved in my honor. Does this mean that I don't have a +1?
That is correct.
Unfortunately, the venue is quite small. This means that if we haven't explicitly told you that you get a +1, we have only been able to allocate one seat for you.
Q:
​Will there be an open bar?
Kind of? We didn't purchase the package, but we will be paying the group's tab at the end of the night. We ask that you remain (at least somewhat) coherent. Also, you're going to need to bring ID to prove your age.

Will there be children / can I bring my child as my +1?
Unfortunately not, sorry. There are no exceptions to this rule. Anyone under the age of 18 will not be permitted entrance.
Q:
​You mentioned an "unplugged" ceremony. What's that?
Great question! This means that we request that you don't have your phone (or other devices) on your person during the ceremony! We will have a place to drop off your phone, and we'll ask you to turn it fully off. Basically, we have a set of professionals to take the pictures and videos. We want you to live in the moment!

How will we get back to the hotel at the end of the day?
There will be a shuttle!

Will you be streaming the event?
Nope. We will have a video professionally made, however, and we might share snippets of that, on request, after we come home from our honeymoon.

​What will you be serving?
A classic Middle Earth-style meal! Roaring fires, malt beer, red meat off the bone. (There will also be vegetarian & vegan options available.)
